Marc brings two & a half decades of government relations and political experience with a public affairs and advocacy focus. He leads a team of government and community affairs experts to serve clients seeking to emphasize sound regional policy & strategic work with elected officials, their staffs & their communities at the federal, state, county and city levels, as well as engaging public agencies throughout Southern California.
As a former political and special projects director to former U.S. Senators (Bill Bradley & Paul Wellstone),
Marc continues to be called upon in our region for political strategy insight at multiple levels of government. Marc began a political life in 1998 by volunteering for family friend, Tom Vilsack, in his gubernatorial bid. Vilsack served as Governor of Iowa from 1999-2007, Secretary of Agriculture from 2009-2017 (returning to this role in 2021). Marc has worked extensively in organized labor, including in legislative capacities with SEIU 721 in the LA Basin.
Marc currently serves on the South Bay YMCA Board. He and his wife have volunteered for nearly a decade at the 1736 Crisis Center; responding to the growing needs of domestic violence victims. He also has guest lectured public affairs courses at UCLA and Pomona College as well as continues mentoring students at his alma mater, The University of Northern Iowa’s Wilson School of Business.
